Rating + 1 product not as advertised

I was shipped an advertised HDMI capable Acer Monitor, which arrived with NO HDMI port.
The seller did not respond to the Newegg inquiry about the product on my behalf.
I guess that pretty much speaks for the quality of service and customer support of ADORAMA Camera.
STAY AWAY.... Newegg has stayed on the issue, but no results so far.....

Rating + 1 Horrible

Seller sent a fake tracking number and just continued to send automated emails about how the package would be there at some point. Basically a thief and Newegg needs to address this problem. DO NOT buy from Adorama Camera!

Rating + 1 Avoid this vendor

I bought two displays titled "Acer ... HDMI Display ..." for Raspberry Pi 3 computers and
received two Acer displays without HDMI ports. Adorama Camera blamed on Newegg.
I had to spend my own expense and time (in addition to lost project time) to repackage
the two display boxes, and sent them back to get refund. The two Acer displays had
correct model numbers, I think the company Adorama Camera intentionally over advertising
to hook the buyers. They will sell slightly cheaper, even with some promotional gift card.
Please be aware and avoid this vendor. They blamed on Newegg and said it is a "mixup".

Rating + 1 No Returns even if defective

I bought a laptop from these people and it would not take a charge. The unit was fundamentally defective. When I contacted them, they wrote back "WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON COMPUTERS, TABLETS OR PHONES ONCE THE BOX HAS BEEN OPENED". What? If you send me a paperweight dressed as a laptop you won't give me my money back? THAT CONSTITUTES THEFT BY DECEPTION, and I fully intend to treat it as such. You haven't heard the last of me, Adorama Camera!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS!!!!

Rating + 1 Damaged Product, No Refund

Ordered a TV that arrived damaged. Requested service, they picked it up and said they would provide a refund. So far the process has gone through four different entities and still no refund. Customer service is closed most of the time, you might get an e-mail by the next day. Completely disappointed. Buyer beware.

Rating + 1 Very poor customer service

I turned on my new computer and the first thing I saw was a warning that the warranty had expired 3 months ago! Huh? How is that possible? It's NEW! Newegg, Adorama and Lenovo are all pointing fingers at each other for the past 2 weeks. After several hours on the phone, and numerous emails, I still have NO warranty on my NEW computer. I'm currently waiting for SOMEONE to resolve my issue. WARNING! Be careful of which vendors are actually selling the products you are buying!

Rating + 1 Bad Experience - Not impressed with customer service

Ordered a product on 12/12 in plenty of time for Christmas. I received notification is was routed to Florida, I reside in Oregon. Called customer service and they said nothing could be done until after the delivery, which was unknown. Customer service could clearly see from their tracking number the situation & should have rectified it by shipping a new product out promptly, but no concern on their end. I still haven't received my product, so I placed an urgent over-night delivery order thru Amazonn so my son could have his gift on time. I order from Newegg and never had a problem until now. Won't purchase from this company again.

Rating + 5 One of the most reliable vendors on the web

I purchased expensive items from Adorama before, and therefore had little reservation about purchasing a big-screen TV from them despite the no-returns policy on large TVs and concerns about shipping. However, I almost cancelled my order regardless of being offered a very good deal by Newegg after I read some of the customer reviews of Adorama on Newegg marketplace. I ended up going through with the order, and I am glad I did. In addition to offering a solid deal, Adorama support was always easy to reach (both through Newegg and directly), always responsive and always informative. The shipping service they engaged was also very professional, accessible and accommodating. I couldn't recommend them enough, and one suggestion I have for Adorama is to keep better tabs on customer feedback in marketplaces like Newegg and post responses to make sure potential customers know they won't be hung out to dry.

Rating + 1 Marks item as shipped and doesn't ship it for at least 3 days.

I understand items are marked as shipped as soon as a shipping label is created but my expectation is that item will actually ship the next business day in such case. My order is still not actually shipped even though it was marked as shipped 3 business days ago, at this point I am wondering if they ever plan to ship it.

    Return Policy
    For the first 30 days after your purchase you may return merchandise for a full money back refund, excluding any shipping charges. Simply download and fill out the Return Merchandise form. All returns must meet our guidelines.

    Returned or exchanged products must be in brand new, mint condition, and have all original manufacturer's packaging, materials, and accessories, including instruction booklets, packing inserts, and blank warranty cards.

    Merchandise missing the original Universal Product Code (UPC) cannot be returned. The original manufacturer's labeled packaging should be enclosed within an outer shipping box. Please do not write or place shipping labels or stickers on the manufacturer's packaging.

    Securely package the product and include the filled out Return Merchandise Form and a copy of the original invoice.

    Ship the parcel back to us freight prepaid. We do not accept COD or freight collect shipments. We recommend a shipping method that provides tracking and insurance.

    TV Return Policy:
    •TV's Up to and including 47" All TV's up to and including 47" that are sealed in the original manufacturer box (never opened) may be returned within 30 days for a refund. You will receive the purchase price less shipping charges (Items that qualified for free shipping that are being returned will have our standard shipping charges deducted from the refund or credit.) You must insure the product when you ship it back to cover possible damages that may occur during transit. Any free offers that you received along with this purchase must be returned. A fee will be charged for any items that were not returned.
    •TV's over 47" cannot be returned. In the unlikely event a TV is defective the warranty is to be handled thru the manufacturer. When your TV is delivered please inspect the TV for any obvious damage. A broken or damaged outer box is a first sign that your TV may have been damaged in transit. Open the box immediately and inspect your TV. If the TV is damaged, have the driver note it on the delivery document and contact us immediately to report the damage and file a claim.
    Items from the following categories may not be returned:
    •Printers cannot be returned once toner, ink, or ribbon cartridges have been installed.
    •Notebooks, Netbooks, Tablets, iPads and Computers cannot be returned or exchanged once opened or unwrapped.
    •Underwater photography equipment cannot be returned once it has been used in water.
    •Cell phones and smart phones will only be accepted for credit or exchange if they register less than 10 minutes cumulative talk time and show no sign of use. Defective phones will be exchanged for the same model only.
    If the above conditions are not met, Adorama has the right to refuse the return or charge a restocking fee.

Return Instruction
    1. Log onto your Newegg.com account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
