Notice1: Laptops without USB-C ports
You can use USB 3.0 A to C cable if your laptop does not own any USB-C port. (This A to C cable is not used for Power Delivery but only for transferring data;please charge your laptop by the original power adapter.)
Notice 2: Dual 4K Display
There are two ports in each section(Display 1&2)that supports one monitor at a time, thus please choose the type of port you need.
Notice 3: Single 5K Display
5K resolution is accessible by connecting dual DP port together to a single display. For Windows up to 5120x2880@60Hz, Mac OS only supports up to 5120x1440@60Hz.
Attention
- The maximum resolution will be 3840x2160 (UHD) if both video outputs are being used.
-Max 5K (5120 x 2880@60Hz) resolution only via dual Display Ports with 5K monitor.
-Supports DP 1.2 and make sure monitor settings are configured to use DP 1.2 and not 1.1.
-On HDMI output make sure your HDMI cable is capable of 4K @ 60Hz.
-This docking station is not compatible with the graphics card on notebook PC (NVIDIA GeForce).
- 2.4Ghz wireless devices, such as wireless keyboard and mouse adapters, may not works well on USB 3.0 ports, connecting to a USB 2.0 port is recommended.
-Cannot be mixed with non-DisplayLink USB graphics adapters and drivers (e.g. MCT, j5, or SMSC).
-If playing UHD content (4K), the system must be capable of decoding the 4K video in the graphics processor.

Mac macOS High Sierra needs attention:
1, Since macOS High Sierra 10.13, the user has to explicitly enable this system extension in the Security & Privacy system preference after installation and before the DisplayLink software is allowed to run.
2, macOS Catalina 10.15 requires the user to permit "Screen Recording" in order for DisplayLink devices to work properly.
The system requirements for 4K are higher than the system specs , due to the extra resources needed to process the high resolution. The recommended specs are below:
