Not CD! There is a "Key Card" only in the box with download instructions and your "Product Key". Worked fine for me. Hope this helps.

I found it doesn't really matter what year it's for.  When you install it, the first thing that happens is it goes to Symantec and downloads the latest copy automatically.  All this does is give you 365 day license for the latest version.  I usually buy a copy when I see it on sale and wait until my current version is about to expire before installing it.

is this Norton Security 2016?

Unfortunately I could not tell you as when I tried to log the product key it said it was already in use.  I had to renew via Norton itself.  Not happy about it and will just purchase Norton through them now

Does the product key expire? Can I save the product key till 2018?

As long as you don't use any of the five licenses the 1 year subscription starts the day you register for the first time with your Norton account. Then all five start that day.

Doe this include "Norton Mobile Security" for Android? Or is it something different?

this product is a subscription.  When you buy it, you can install it on up to 5 devices.  Notice that not all Norton Products support 5 devices, that's why some are more expensive than others.  You can then install Norton on 5 devices.  I know this works on android because I use to have it on a google nexus 7 tablet.  You just have to download Norton onto you device via the play store and log in to get protection/remaining download of software.

If I buy this now, is there a time limit on when I must start the subscription.  In other words, can I buy now, and wait a year (when my current subscription ends) before activating the new one?

I bought Norton from somewhere else.  Have been using it for about 20 years.  Bought license for 10 devices.  Course I did not buy all my computers or tablet or phone the same day/year, so there were varying expiration dates.  I downloaded 1 license (waiting for each of them to come up for renewal time).  When I downloaded the 2nd device, it only gave me credit for the remaining months from the original date of purchase.  I also could not download the program early, because any days left on my system would not count and I would loose the remaining time on that device.  So basically I have got 1-full time license to use, 1 system I got about 6 months out of the full year and even less when I go to add what's left on to a tablet.  So seems like it's a use it or loose it offer now, much different than it was in the past.  I also went back and read the very fine print and it said all 10 devices must be updated within 30 days of purchase (hence the countdown begins).  Though I've always been happy with Norton and their abilities, it seems like they have turned into a big shark...doo do, doo do (that's oncoming shark music from jaws).

Does the Key Card work the same as digital download in that it records an e-mail address that all devices have to log in on and then the 365 day clock starts ticking with the first download? All my devices were not due for updates at the same time with two just having recent updates. When they got close to expiration and went to download and they told me I only had a month or so left because I downloaded the first one about eleven months back. Has anyone encountered the same problem?

It works the same, once you start downloading, it counts 365 days from the first download.  Since I bought inexpensive copy so I made sacrifice on some devices that still have many days left.

I have brought the Norton Antivirus I have paid 69$ on Mail in Rebate, I did submited the transactions details to Norton its been 3 months I have not got any reply from them. Seems I have loosed $69. Do you guys suggest anything ?
