Yes, it has a hard-wired WAN port for your Internet connection and 4 gigabit, hard-wired ports for your devices.  I'm very pleased with this router.

Can you configure the DNS settings to work with Open DNS?

Accepted Answer

By this, if you mean, "Can you set the router to use OpenDNS' DNS Servers?", yes, you can. I have switched from the ISP's DNS, to Google's DNS, to OpenDNS, and back several times to see which provided the best video streaming.

How can you use the usb port?

Multi-purpose USB 2.0 ports for 3G/4G, printer, file sharing and media streaming.  For the 3G/4G, that's for use with devices like the Verizon USB "air cards".  Setup through the web interface of the router.  It's good for when you loose connection from your ISP.  The printer, file sharing and media streaming part, just plug in your USB device that has files and songs or videos and use the router's web interface to configure file sharing.  Kind of slick.  Otherwise, you can go to Asus' web site and download the user guides and setup guides.  Really easy to setup.  I don't use these features, but the router has been rock-solid.

Does this router have MAC address filtering built in?

Yes. 
Update [MAC Filter List] to filter wireless connections by MAC Address.

You can find the [MAC Filter List] by navigating to 'Wireless' (in the left hand side menu of the Asus admin panel) -> 'MAC Filter List' tab -> then set 'Enable MAC Filter' to 'Yes'.

Did the latest firmware Version 3.0.0.4.382.50276 2018/03/30 fix the rebooting issues that some have mentioned? Is this router working well now?
