Thank you for contacting us in regards to your question. The Dell monitor does not list to have an anti-glare screen. This would mean if the monitor is placed in an environment with bright lighting it would create a glare which may have it difficult to use the monitor. I would recommend searching for an anti-glare monitor.

As far as total weight I am not sure. But it was light enough to mount on a VESA arm that is on my glass desk. The mount is on the metal frame and it did not have any problem staying in place at all. However, l do recommend not buying it. The display is very sub par and it is not that great of a monitor at all.

Is this glossy or matte? I really prefer glossy, no AG coating at all....also, is the pixel grid noticeable? Many thanks in advance.

It is glossy or semi-glossy.  Which makes no sense to me.  Why would you want to see a reflection when you're trying to focus on the content on the screen?  I don't like it, but I'll survive.  It was a great price ($150) for the size.  Good stand and not wobbly.  Pixel grid is noticeable when closer than 24" from screen.  (e.g., if you look close.), but looks fine at 24" and above.  No speakers on this model.  Has an HDMI port, but no HDMI cord.
