Are you able to use a HDMI to USB-C cord to output from an HDMI device to the monitor? Is there enough power output through the HDMI for this to work?

Even if your computer has a USB-C port, it won't necessarily work. The USB-C port MUST support DisplayPort Alt-Mode (DP-Alt-Mode), which is not that common on Windows based laptops. I have an Acer laptop with USB-C port and it would not work for that reason. There is a website that lists products which support DP Alt Mode, google it and check before ordering this.

Does this works with the new Macbook Pro 2018?

Yes - I have it plugged into my Late 2018 MacBook Pro 15 inch w/ 4 USB-C/Thunderbolt connections as I type this. The only warning is make sure you use a USB-C data cable (it's included) not just a charging cable. Couldn't figure out why the monitor would power up and then just display No Signal. Until I realized I used the wrong cable by mistake.

If you bought a second one of these, could they piggyback off each other? I have limited usb-c port space on laptop but I would like to have a dual monitor set up.

I highly doubt it, even as a daisy-chain from a "desktop" monitor. You may be able to use a USB-C hub or docking station as a "splitter" but I can't test either (I only have one of the portables, and my desktop monitor doesn't have USB-C)

Is the included cable a USB 3.1 to USB-C, or is it USB-C on both ends?

USB-C both ends. T-Bolt-3 cable will work fine too. Be aware, this will only work if your PC will output video via USB-C or T-Bolt. You may have to go into the BIOS to enable display port alt-mode. Hope this helps.

Hi. Will this work with a 2016/17 Surface Pro...or a Dell Laptop?

If you have either a USB-C (Gen-2) or Thunderbolt-3 port that will output video, it should work. I use it Thunderbolt-3, had to tweak the BIOS to output video on that port, but after that, it works fine.

Does this *still* work with MacBook Pros — I've seen mixed reviews that possibly since Catalina the drivers no longer work?

I'm using two on my MacBook Pro 2018 15" with TouchBar no problem Use the ports closest to the back of the machine; the display will be much clearer. Using the ports closest to the front of the machine makes the display a bit blurry. I believe the difference is due to USB-C versus Thunderbolt. I highly recommend these

Will this work with a 2018 11-inch iPad Pro?

Yes - but it will only mirror the Ipad and it has no touch capability.

What are the power requirements (amps / watts) for this display? I have a zotac micro pc I'm considering hooking it up to but there's only so much power it can output through the usb-c port.

Their website says 8 watts, quite low and almost certainly within spec of your micro pc. Oh and .5W standby
