go try it on a 500w and let me know how it goes,  I had a 525w 80 bronze power supply and it was not enough,  I have a fx-8320e cpu that's 95w tdp. I bought a 650w 80+ gold certified power supply and now it works like a champ.

8 pin, it is an 8 PIN connector, the ASUS website is WRONG. once again, this has an EIGHT pin power connector

It means they both have similar white plastic bits on them.  I wouldn't read too much into the marketing slang. "performance" claims without a numbers are worthless.

yes they do not look like copper but honestly, its not needed because this card runs extremely cool even comparing it to an RX 470. If you go an overclock this card like a genius with the horrible drivers around you will more than likely fry it. Please WAIT at least a couple months to overclock everyone.

Question I like the look and Dual-fan design compared to the standard Radeon RX 480.  But how do I know if the quality of manufacturing are up the same standards form a third party like ASUS.  Can anyone make AMD  graphics card? I’ve never owned anything from ASUS before.  Is the inside of the card the same as a regular RX 480 thanks.

I can assure you that this card is better quality than the reference. It also performs substantially better. Keep in mind this does NOT have a back plate however. Asus makes one of, if not the best, card lines; the Strix. This is basically a more affordable, tuned down Strix that is how they put it. This card is treating me extremely well I constantly hover at 65 on load without anything fancy :P
