How hard is it to add more memory to this laptop? Is it just a matter of removing a cover or do you need to take out the keyboard like on some other laptops?

Piece of cake, take two screws out on bottom, pop the plate off and do what you want.
HD is there too.

Does it have backlight?

I assume you mean a backlit keyboard. No this model does not have a backlit keyboard.

Does this computer have a headphone and mic jack ?

It does. Check the pictures on the product's page. The audio jack is on the left side, when it faces you. However, it does not seem to have both at once. Any laptop that has a webcam will have a microphone, but I'm not sure if this is what you want. Recommend a USB headset if you absolutely want both at once.

Is it possible to turn off the scratch pad?

I do not know what you  mean by a scratch pad.  If you are talking about the touch pad, yes you can turn it off but why bother.  Just plug in a mouse.  If you are talking about some sort of message pad, You should be able to x out of it. (click the x in the upper right corner).

Does this unit come with any Microsoft products or support?  If not, do you offer any subscription  or purchase plans for Microsoft Office?

The only Microsoft Product this computer came with is Windows 10.  You would have to purchase or subscribe to a Microsoft Office Product.  I happened to have a Windows 7 Home and Student which I was able to install on the computer.  Works fine.  I did purchase an extended warranty from Newegg. I probably did not need this, but it was cheap.  
This is a great laptop and I would recommend it .

Does "integrated battery" mean that it can not be changed for a new one when the original battery dies?

"Integrated" means that it is not a battery that sits in an external bay which allows for easy removal by releasing the locking latches.  The battery is internal to the laptop.  It can be replaced when the original dies, it just requires a bit more work by removing the entire back cover of the laptop.

I’m very happy with my Dell Hp is a good one too. I wish I could turn off the mouse pad but otherwise I’m very satisfied. You might want to consider a few things how much memory and storage do you want/need and do you want a DVD player built in? The ideal for me was yes to the DVD player made it a little heavier and I wanted 8MB or more, 1Terra and what kind of processor do you like? Intel? Etc..

There isn't a docking station port on it, so there isn't a OEM dock for it.

However, there are a wide variety of USB3.0 docking stations that should work just fine with it.
