Can this be wall mounted?

All the cables come straight out the rear, so mounting it flush against a wall isn't possible. Although, if you use a telescoping arm you can since it supports 100x100mm vesa.

Question 2

I looked on the Tech Spec sheet and I couldnt find the Refresh Rate. Did I miss it? What is it?

It is up to 90Hz (H-sync) on DP or HDMI. V-sync is 56-61Hz. The full specs are posted on LG's website.

will this monitor work with an nvidia 1060 gpu or newer nvidia gpu's?

Does anyone know if there is any difference between the LG 34UB88-P and the LG LG 34UM88-P? Or is the UB  simply the commercial version of the UM?

I purchased the LG 34UB88-P to sit next to a LG 34UM88-P. which you can find my review for that monitor here, https://www.newegg.com/Product/SingleProductReview.aspx?ReviewID=4657665. The two monitors appear to be the same physically with all the same I/O. However, the one major difference I have found is that the LG 34UB88-P only has a contrast ratio of 1000:1 compared to 5M:1 on the 34UM88-P display. When sitting side by side, images on the LG 34UB88-P display appear dimmer. However, standing on its own, the LG 34UB88-P is a brilliant looking display.

Does this work with a early 2015 Macbook Pro Retina? Does it scale correctly?

this is a pretty good monitor. But you cant turn contrast and brightness up all the way. it will leave writing an images burned into the screen for a while. eventually they do fade away. i dont recommend this monitor.

Is it matte finish or that reflective gloss?

There's anti-reflective attached to the glass, but it's hardly noticeable.  In fact I hadn't noticed it until I saw this question and checked.
