I see dimensions for with and without a stand. Does this monitor support VESA or some other kind of monitor arm?

Yes, the monitor has a VESA mount pattern. I have mine on a triple stand with the Acer in the center in landscape and (2) 27" monitors in portrait on either side flanking it. I have no complaints about my monitor so far. Maybe I got lucky but backlight bleed is barely noticeable. Do I wish the Freesync went higher than 75Hz? Of course, but it seems to work very well when within freesync range. I use mine for both work and gaming and I'm satisfied on both fronts.

Hello, I know that the LED strip at the bottom of the monitor can change colors. Can it also turn off completely?

You can set it to different colors, to roll across like a wave, to flash, solid or completely off.

Has anyone who has purchased this monitor recieved one that does not flicker at the top part of the screen when running in Freesync mode?

FYI - newest Crimson driver claims to address this:  from the Tom's Hardware article:

Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.9.1 specifically address DX12 for Deus Ex, but AMD would be remiss if the update didn’t include additional fixes and features. On older drivers, some 144Hz “non-Freesync” displays would sometimes flicker in games or even on the desktop, and for FreeSync displays, refresh rate synchronization could cause flickering on the desktop. The hotfix corrects both of those problems.

If I run this monitor with an nvidia card what hz does it run? 75hz? Can it be overclocked?  thanks

It runs at 75 Hz over display port not hdmi so if your videocard has display port output your fine.

I haven't tried overclocking the monitor though.

It's a great monitor ( if you have money to spare ) but if your looking for a multi player gaming monitor at 144hz you wont be able to overclock anywhere near that.  I heard that higher refresh rate and even 4k ultrawide monitors are coming soon but at the time I bought this it was the best ultrawide monitor in the market.

This monitor is not on the list for compatabilty with the gsync kit. Just wait 2 more weeks and purchase the gsync model, by the end of the year they are releasing the xr35, its suppose to have 200hz.

If I use an nvidia gpu, will there be screen tearing? On fast passes scenes? Is the free sync apply only to amd gpus? And if so, is there a gsync model?

Freesync doesn't work with nVidia. The GSync version of this monitor comes out in about a month's time, Acer xr341cka

Can 3 of these monitors be daisy chained with display port, or will this exceed the capacity of a display port channel?  If not 3, can it be done with 2?  3 would be a LOVELY workspace for my workstation.

I am not an expert but display port can run 4k at 60fps so you should be fine with 2,  I dont know about 3 but I'm not sure 3 would even fit on a desk,  it would be impractical.  If your willing to spend so much for monitors you would be better off upgrading your graphics card to a card with multiple display out ports if you want 3 monitors.
