Will Windows 7 work on the computer's OS?

It should, there is nothing special that I have seen on the driver side. The best way to double check is to contact ASUS customer support > presales . I had a few questions when I was buying it — the presales engineer that I got was competent enough to answer

what's the body material?

The screen is housed in metal. The bottom half is plastic.

How is the cooling? Does it get hot or loud? Does it have fans?

No, not at all. I have not had the chance to use the laptop a whole lot at this point but have not had any problems with it. I hope this helps.

Any ideas on graphics card, adequate to do synchronous video such a webinars on the production side?

Anything other than 3d rendering is OK.. videos, web streams etc..

CPU/RAM/SSD upgradeable?

There is one RAM slot open you can add RAM. There is a 128 SSD in it. If you want to upgrade, you need to take out the 128 and replace with the larger one.

Where is the on/off button?

It is located in the top right hand side of the keyboard.
