I was looking into buying this for a server that I run, my question is I usually leave it on 24/7 very little down time, is liquid cooling okay to leave on all the time, or would air cooling be better?

Ok, i was sent an email to answer this because i purchased this unit. I have had this for about 3 years now and my computer stays on 24/7. I have had no issue what so every with this AIO Liquid Cooler or the previous one that i had on my last build. You have probably the same chance of the fan going out on an air cooled unit as you do the fan going out these, but with the difference being that these fans can be replaced easily without purchasing a whole new unit, like you would have to with some of the better known air cooled companies.

Does this liquid coolant system work with AMD processors?

The LEPA LPWAC240 cooler comes with brackets to fit both Intel and AMD processors. If you look under the "specifications" tab on the newegg site it will have a list of all processor sockets that it will fit.

Do i have to put coolant in myself?

No this is a closed look system, meaning that it comes out of the box ready to install, you cannot add or remove coolant from the system

Does this come with red LEDs?

No LEDs and the fans started leaking oil from the bearings after 3 months. Changed with spare fans and no more problems. I would not buy again.

Will this fit in a mid-tower?

I have a miniATX case, albeit one with a bit more room then most, and it was a tough fit, the tubes are really rigid and hard to position. I would say it would be possible to fit it in a mid tower but your going to have to put in a bit of effort possible sacrifice your optical drive slot depending on how you position the cooler and which way you let the tubes go.

Question 7

Is the tubing very flexible? I want it to fit in a Core 500 from Fractal but I'm worried about the large amounts of tubing (10-12 inches) and the flexibility of it. Maybe rotating the radiator to where the outlet from the radiator are in the front would give it more room?

Any information regarding this would be helpful. Thanks :D

BTW the Core 500 can support 240mm rads.

Jacob, the tubing is flexible to some extent. Remember these tubes are very thick and have a nylon braid sandwiched within the rubber. The (10-12) inches will run out very quickly. I bought this system before this one came out... "Lepa Exllusion 240"
If I could go back in time I would get the Exllussion system that way if I needed longer tubes I could just build them.

Question 8

Okay, this is my first-time installing a liquid cooler.  This is an all-in-one cooler as far as I know.  I read the manual (RTFM) that came with it and also searched the website.  Both said nothing about filling or refilling the unit.  Should I assume that it's already filled with coolant?  Will the levels ever run low?  I'm not about to take it apart.  I'm assuming that it's closed loop, requires no maintenance, etc.  But it's better ask and take the risk of looking foolish than to assume and prove it. :)

This is a AIO closed loop system with coolant already filled. Easy to mount and hose felt stiff but still manageable.

As this is my first AIO cooler. I am not sure how long the coolant will last or if there is a way to refill/replace the coolant on a closed loop system. Hopefully someone more experienced will answer that.

On a side note. The fins are EXTREMELY fragile. If you slip mounting the cooler or the fan and touch the fins, it will bend. And trying to bend it back will snap the piece off. So, be careful, if you decide to purchase this.

how much dust does this collect? I have a heat sync in my current PC, and have had it for a year now, and it collects a lot of dust! The heat sync is the ZALMAN CNPS9500A-LED 92mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler. Thanks!

This depends on what kind of environment you live in. If you have lots of pets too, and whether or not your case has dust filters on the intakes. It is impossible to give an exact amount.

The manufactures web site says it is compatible with socket 1151. Is it? Dose it require special installation?

It comes with multiple brackets for installation on various socket types. I used it on a socket 1150, though I do remember seeing the parts and instructions for 1151.
