i need a wifi router to reach a 2nd building outside my home which is about 100 ft away. i tried a d-link extender dap1320 but it just barely reaches and get only 1 o2 bars. would this work better or is there something else i should use.? dir626l is what i am using now.

I get 4 bars with mine Almond about 80- 100 feet away. This thing has worked perfectly for a media connection hub. As you can see, the antennas are inside the box unlike most other brands. I have no experience running this to an out building but it has not disappointed us at all. I used nothing but Asus routers before changing and they were always dropping and required rebooting to get the Wi-Fi back online. I believe I have only rebooted the Almond one time and this was to do the firmware update! Hope this helps Rich
