Provides Auxiliary Power over Ethernet (PoE) for Streetlight Mounted Equipment. The PoE OWL provides power through a user specified cable and user specified connector for ancillary devices. The input power comes from a standard NEMA Street Light receptacle. Any line voltage up to 480 VAC is converted to user specified DC voltage.
This streetlight power adapter version provides continuous 48 VDC, 0.42 mA POE output (IEEE 802.3 af) from 120V AC. Also provides a 7-pin ANSI C 136.41 interface to pass through control commands to the luminaire (e. g., dimming control).
For use with wireless equipment, surveillance cameras, traffic monitoring, gunshot detection, and other communication and UPS (uninterruptible power supply) systems.
