It is superior to standard 24AWG CAT6 cables in the following ways without compromising performance: • 40% smaller in cable outer diameter (3.8 mm vs. 6.2 mm for regular CAT6) for efficient rack airflow and higher cable bundle density • 38% better in bend radius (25 mm vs. 40 mm for regular CAT6) for maximum cable routing flexibility • 60% lighter than regular CAT6 to reduce strain on network ports and make cable bundles lighter • Proprietary RJ45 plug to ensure that the thin cable is securely crimped down and fit snugly through the boot • Snagless plug with strain relief boot for maximum durability The FlexLite CAT6 cables are made of 28AWG with 100% stranded copper wires as opposed to copper clad aluminum (CCA). They support up to 250 MHz They are fully compliant with National Electrical Code EIA/TIA-568-C.2 fire and safety standards. The connectors use T568B pin assignments.
