Hello Im looking to use this for a computer in the kitchen . She likes to play facebook games,and watch youtube videos ,plus store recipes on it . I will have it hooked to a wall mounted tv ,that has a vga port . Question is what OS can it run, will it handle windows 10 ? My wife does not like or understand any linux distro so I need a windows machine.

I have one of these, it runs Windows 10 64-bit very well. Very pleased with performance, especially at the price. Put 8+ GB RAM on it, add a reasonable SSD and it'll be pretty darn quick.

does this come with a cpu cooler?

The CPU was originally intended for laptop use. As you can see from the photos, it has a VERY large heat-sink. A case with a good cooling fan (or fans) should keep this CPU from overheating, unless you are using it in an 85+ degree (Fahrenheit) sweat box.

What is your overall power consumption?

I am looking to replace a server that consumes around 80 watts idle.

I have this and several similar low power boards.  Power consumption is mainly due to cpu. This particular board in in a mythtv frontend.  I'm sure the power consumption is well under 80 watts.  I tested with watt meters back when I set it up.  Adding a gaming video card will boost power consumption.  I tend to use low power MBs with 8 sata ports and high memory capacity for servers.  Good choice.

I am looking to put this in a 1U case but i want to verify it will fit. What is the overall height of the board/ heatsink?

I pulled the top of the machine I'm using right now with this board.  I can't get in and measure because the machine is running and the CPU is under the PS. The sink looks to be about the same height at the stack of two USB ports and the ethernet  port on the back.  The 1U is pretty narrow.  The heat sinks on the RAM are higher than the CPU sink.  Might be concerned about airflow in such a tight box.

Has anyone tried to use this board with NAS4Free?

I have this board and a couple other similar low power boards.  Two of these boards have 5 or 6 SATA ports and are running FreeNAS.  The board you're asking about has only 2 SATA ports so I wouldn't use it for a NAS.  However, if 2 ports are enough for you, I'm sure NAS4Free or FreeNAS will run fine.

How come newegg has this a micro ATX but the asrock website has this as ITX?

By definition, Mini-ITX is 6.75 inches x 6.75 inches. This board is longer to acomodate for 3 different expansion slots. Yes, it is still less than 7 inches wide, but I've built several Mini-ITX systems and the length make it impossible to fit most Mini-ITX only cases.
