Since this information doesn't seem to be available anywhere (I looked!) I'll give you the entire connector count:

How loud is this PSU?  Is it quiet enough to be in the same room with and hold a soft conversation?  Is it comparable to an antec earthwatts green desktop power supply?  I am building a NAS with this and don't want to listen to it scream like my 1U supermicro server I threw away.

I bought this for my NAS as well. I put it in a 2U Norco case and you can't really hear it. The fans that come with the case are all I can hear but it's still not that noticeable.

Question 4

Does this unit have a -5VDC output?  I need a replacement for a I-STAR model TC-2U35 power supply that has a -5vdc output along with the other outputs.

According to the SeaSonic data sheet at seasonic dot com/main/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/SS-500-400L2U.pdf the answer is no.  I can't recall ever seeing a supply that had -5V.  -12 is common & this one has a -12VDC rail but no -5VDC.

Hi. Will it power a Fujitsu D3417B mainboard? The board requires min current of 0.05A on 12V, 12V1+12V2 summed up. This is per Intels Haswell and Skylake requirements. Facts sheet only shows max current, nothing found on min.

I think you have a misunderstanding of the current specifications.  The max number listed is what the PSU is capable of supplying so it can supply anything from zero up to that amount.  As long as the maximums for your board & other system components total doesn't exceed what the PSU can supply & you have all the connectors you need it will work.  Hope that helps.

will it fit a mini tower Dell optiplex 7040?

My guess is not. The power supply is probably too long to fit in most towers. Unless you have a super deep tower, this will probably not fit. Especially if you have a DVD drive or other equipment in the 5.25" bays.
