Question 1

It appears that the fan cover could be removed to replace the fan. Is the fan replaceable?

John, I don't know. I'd suggest a quick e-mail to Seasonic...but with a 7-year warranty, I hope that won't be an issue for quite a while. Mine is working great and is really quiet. If you contact SeasonicUSA directly, they should be able to tell you.

Question 2

How quiet is the unit? Does the fan run loud? Anybody's have the dB level?

Very quiet.  I built for quiet with a Fractal R5 case and 4 fans (2 that came with the case and 2 add'l of the same.)  The fans emit a small amount of noise (it is impossible to have airflow without some sound) - but I have never noticed anything attributable to this Seasonic PS.  If it is making noise, it is either being successfully dampened by the case or drowned out by the mostly-quiet fans.  Cannot, alas, provide a dB level, I don't have the equipment to measure that.

Question 3

Does it come with 2 pci e cables for 2 gpu's sli ?

Package contains one 650mm (8pin) and one 650mm (8/4pin) connectors for the CPU
Package also contains a set of four 550mm + 100mm (6+2pin  >>  which can be used as either 8pin or 6pin) connectors for the PCIe.
The SnowSilent1050 model provides FOUR more of these PCIe modular connectors.  I imagine that Seasonic would willingly ship you an extra cable upon request.  What a solid design and a beautiful looking PS this is!  Too bad the SnowSilent modular cables are not sheathed in white!
BTW >> Below 50% current drain (load) on the PS, the fan is turned off and provides a hysteresis loop to spread out the fan on/off switching).  When I first turned on my rig upon assembly; the first thing I noticed was that the PS fan was Off.  I got alarmed and shut off the power to my rig for trouble-shooting... only to realize that the SnowSilent was behaving properly.

Question 4

Does this PSU come with any power cables? If so, which ones?

Yes, it comes with everything you need, CPU cables, sata cables, pcie cables, peripheral cables.  I had plenty cables left over after building a new PC.  It fully modular which makes this super easy.   This is a tier 1 psu with superior components, highly recommended

Will this power 2 evga 960 4gb ssd overclocked with a over clocked 4790k ?

Most other PSU's say that they are Haswell certified. This PSU does not. Will this PSU work with a Haswell PC build ??
