The USB 3.0 & 2.0 Hub Card Reader adds three USB 3.0 and three USB 2.0 ports and a USB 2.0 multi-port card reader to your USB 3.0 equipped computer. This USB Hub/Card Reader delivers data transfer rates up to 5Gb/s (up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0) and allows simultaneous operation of multiple USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and USB 1.1 devices, while the USB 2.0 multi-port card reader supports the latest SD and Memory Stick memory cards.
Additional features include over-current protection built-in to protect both connected devices and the hub itself from unforeseen power surges and hot-swap capability to allow attachment and detachment of USB devices without having to first power your system off.
