Question 1

I got the 128 GB Flash drive. It seems only recognize 32 GB. I am trying to reformat and it only allow me to format to 32 GB. I saw an unallocated partition containing 80 GB or so. But I can't delete or create partition on either the 32 GB or the unallocated partitions. I am using Windows 7 or 8.1 64 bit versions. No sure if any one know how to use the full size of the drive?

If you're using FAT32 filesystem, it sounds like you've selected the wrong Allocation Unit Size. In the Format dialog, under the Allocation Unit Size drop down, make sure you've selected 32KB (32768 bytes), then you should see the full size available to you. Optionally, you could just format it with the exFAT filesystem, but then your drive won't be as easily compatible with other operating systems.

Question 3

Description makes this sounds like a USB 3.0 device.  Why?  Patriot website makes clear that this is a USB 2.0 flash stick.  Large capacity and good performance for USB 2.0  Why dress it up as something else?

This is a USB 3.0 Flash. It has the extra pins in the connector.
Seems a little slow when plugged in and reading the file/directory list but once that is done it moves along quite well.
Nice drive for the price.

Question 4

Two part question:
a) why doesn't the LED indicator work?
b) why can't I connect to Linux?  I get "Patriot (Kingston Patriot memory) was unable to connect to its ideal host controller.

a I don't see an LED either I guess it doesn't have one.  Not important to me.
b: Mine seems to work fine on Linux no problems so far except when you dismount from Linux and mount to windows the windows computer wants to do a disk check but I have seen that on other usb drives again no problem for me 
c: After a month or so of testing I will buy another one

I just received mine, here are the CrystalDiskMark bench scores:

In terms of real world results, I've been getting ~20MB/s transfers off of my SSD tested with large .mkv files and various program file folders. I DID manage to hit 50-60 MB/s with a few zip files, though.
