Does it works with x99 mobo?

These should work with an x99 mobo. According to other users on forums, they have ripjaws v/trident z running on an x99 mobo. G Skill also has great customer service so you can go to their website, give them a call and get an answer direct from them!

I have an HP Envy 860-180st and was looking to upgrade the memory. I was looking at this G Skill DDR4 3200 kit. My PC currently has stock DDR4 2133 memory. I was wondering if I can use memory with a higher transfer rate than 2133 such as this kit which has a 3200 transfer rate. Oddly enough HP's tech support could not answer this question?

I would google the MB numbers on the sticker, better if the is a white painted number, I think its a Z170 Manufacturer name: Pegatron HP/Compaq name: Thimphu.. The spec says "dual channel", but there are four sticks. WIll it run in quad-channel mode? (ASUS ROG x299 Strix XE mobo)

No, the quad channel kits are matched to work together, the 2 dual channels might work if you got astronomically lucky. Channels do not relate to the number of sticks in use but rather to an architecture type.

Is there any reason this wouldn't work with AMD AM4 Ryzen chips?

I'm currently using this in an ASRock X370 Killer SLI/ac AM4 AMD Promontory motherboard with a Ryzen 1800x. Works fine but currently I can only run it at DDR-2400 speeds (which seems to be the best any 64gb set can do on Ryzen right now). At that speed I was able to pull CAS down to 12.

Does this work with a 1950x Threadripper CPU? I have heard that the TRs are picky with RAM and that the Trident Z Series from g.skill might have a higher chance of success when OC. Is this all true?

I dont use AMD cause they're chips are substandard compared to Intel IMO, but the ripjaws ram is really good
