What is the largest HDD supported size?

Click the Waranty & Returns Tab and scroll down until you see a link for the product page at QNAP.  I agree with the previous poster about the excessively long rebuild times while using large HDD drives on RAID 5.  But if you also look at the specifications on the TS-332X, see my comment above, you could buy it instead and with 3TB of SSD Cache + 16GB of RAM, (1TB WD Blue M.2 SATA drives are on sale right now for crazy cheap!) you can enjoy the use of larger drives without the long rebuild times due to the power of that much better model.  Don't forget to get M.2 SSD heatsinks if you do go the TS-332 route.  They're cheaper elsewhere, the lAst time I looked, and you need them to prevent throttling.

If I want a RAID 5 configuration using the 3 available slots, is there another slot left for the SSD cache drive?

It doesn't look like it on their product page.  I recently got the TS-332X and it has 3 HDD bays and 3 SSD bays on the internal MB.  The latter can be set up as either a cache, a separate RAID 5, or a combination of both using QNAP's Qtier system, which is the preferred choice.  You can also upgrade the memory yourself and add up to 16TB (2 x 8GB SODIMMS) and the thing flys.  I have 3 x 1TB WD Blue M.2 SATA SSDs in mine (on sale right now), along with 3 x 6TB Seagate IronWolf NAS drives (also on sale right now).  You can over-provision those SSD drives to substantially reduce write-amplification, which is the bane of SSDs in RAID 5.  The TS-332X also has a 10GBe port along with dual GBe ports that can be teamed together for better throughput.  I caught it on sale a week ago for $379 - $40 Promo code.  It blows this model clean out of the water.  The TS-332X is no longer on sale, but at $379 for what it is, I would spend the extra money considering the WD Blue 1TB M.2 SATA SSDs are at $115 right now.
