Are the built in speakers any good?

They're ok, but I personally have an old Creative THX certified system I've been using for years hooked into my computer, usually speakers aren't great on monitors, they're loud enough though if you don't have any other options that you will hear anything you need, just don't expect superior performance out of them

would I be able to get 144 frames on this monitor if I use an RTX2070?

Yes you can. it's fairly easy when you turn on game mode and overclock the monitor  to the 244 hz g-sync with this monitor. plus your g force gaming RTX 2070 you can definitely achieve that goal,

does the anti glare make the colors look dull?

Not at all. This monitor is very vibrant and outclasses my 3 ASUS monitors (TN panel). I use 3 monitors at work as well as several other PCs and nothing comes close to the color. Beware of dead pixels though, mine has 2 stuck red pixels. Extremely annoying and disappointing at this price point.

Does it actually fit more on the screen? Or is it just 1080p Stretched

Depends on Game/Video, but. Most Games support this resolution (2560x1080) and, newer movies are 21:9 vs 16:9. So you get Cinematic View, vs. Standard HD View that would include black-bars (top and bottom on a 16:9)

Meaning, you see movies fuller than 1920x1080, so/because there is more Video. Games do not look stretched, anamorphic, or interlaced while Fullscreen @ 2560x1080. I see more in games that I used to play on a 1920x1080.

Games like Fallout 4 need mods to get to 21:9 vs 16:9, So, Playing Fallout 4 on this monitor you have black-bars on the sides. Same with 16:9 Videos.

You can use Scaling options if you want to stretch (I think) but personally I don't do this.

Newest AMD drivers resolved tearing issues with a second monitor while using Adaptive-Sync by the way.

I am very satisfied with this monitor.

Question 6

How much does the curve affect the distance from eye to screen edge? I have an LG 34" ultra-wide but I need to lean left or right to clearly see the screen edges. Does the curve make a significant difference in the readability at the edges to the point it would be worth an upgrade?

As you'd expect, the curve brings those edges a little closer to you than they'd normally be. There is a slight change in display algorithm I believe from your standard, flat display but, I've never noticed that I had to lean at all to see the edges.. sitting about 2.5 feet from it. It seems a pretty natural curve, rotating my head left to right to look at it.. I'm pretty sure that I mainly move my eyes around and you'd not find me with my head bobbing all over to see things. I am not a gamer but want a large format monitor so I can have multiple windows open at once on 1 monitor versus my 2 screen setup. I am mostly browsing and have an email window open and an MS word window possible. Since the curve seems like it is mostly for gaming is this monitor worth the extra money as compared to a 32" flat screen or even 34" flat screen from either Samsung or LG that I have looked at?  Also what is the big difference from 2560 x 1080 versus 2560 x 1440 as this monitor is the 1080 and the 32: Samsung is a 1440. I think just a little tighter resolution on the text in the up and down direction?? Thank You for any guidance.

The ultimate answer to your question is that this monitor is the answer to gamers everywhere.  To those who dabble/deal with business and work, this is strictly within principles of preference.  Something worth noting is that the monitor's blue-light technology creates less strain on your eyes than most monitors.

The difference between 2560 x 1080 and 2560 x 1440?

2560x1080 is a pretty interesting resolution. If you're looking at videos on YouTube at that resolution though, beware. Since the YouTube player is a fixed aspect ratio of 16:9, you get those black bars on the bottom and top of the video. Those bars won't be there on a 2560x1080 monitor. It's important to note because those black bars on YouTube videos can give the illusion of higher contrast, making the actual gameplay footage look really really good.

An actual 2560x1080 panel is neat if you understand the black bar thing. They're designed for those who don't want multi-monitor setups. So if multi-monitor seems like a cool thing to you but you don't like bezels, 2560x1080 could be the way to go for you.

As someone who had purchased this product and had to return it (due to a defect), I will point out some features that you may find favorable or irritating.

1.  The inputs for the wires/cords are on the bottom of the screen.  Yes, the monitor can tilt, but you'll have a hard time getting your head under there and fitting the cords in the ports.  Unless this monitor is in an elevated position where you are looking up, this can be a pain.  On the other hand, it allows for cleaner looking setups so there aren't cords running amok.

2.  The monitor is equipped with its own speakers that are of very high quality.  You could watch movies, videos, or Netflix and not have to worry about having speakers connected to your computer.

3.  BE CAREFUL when getting that thing out of its box.  Since it's a curved screen, it's difficult to pull out.  Imagine how much trouble I had getting it back IN...  Good luck!

Depth measured from front edge of monitor foot to rear end of the stand at the back of desk is a full 12in (or 30cm)
