Is this a glass or matte screen?

Matte screen but a nice one. I am loving mine.

Does this monitor include any cables (if any)?

Yes, it does; the monitor comes with a power cable and an HDMI cable (which happen to be connected for some reason). Assuming you're fine with using the cord that comes with it, you're all set. If you want to use a different display cable, you'll need to do a little bit a work; the monitor cables go through a plastic neck on the back into a small compartment that contains the ports. In order to remove the cables, you'll need to remove a small plastic plate covering the compartment and then unplug them, after which you can pull the cords through the neck. This isn't difficult, and there's no risk of damage, but it took me by surprise when I got the monitor (no regrets on choosing it, though!)
