Yes, you are able to remove it from the stand and mount it to a Vesa Desk mount. That is how i currently have mine.

Just to confirm this monitor does NOT have a USB A or B input, correct?

I'm considering getting two, but the first hasn't arrive yet.  I'm guessing the actual screen size is about 12.5x27 inches?  Could someone confirm this for me, as I need to figure ouit which VESA stand to get - Thanks in advance

My laptop only has hdmi and vga, I know that this monitor doesn't have a vga port but i was wondering if i would be able to get 2560 x 1080p out of an hdmi connection? Or would I be limited to 1920 x 1080p when using my laptop with this monitor.

You'll get 2560x1080p. I do. Also, I'm pretty sure you'd wanna choose HDMI over VGA. VGA is analog and quality could depend on the cord. HDMI is digital and does not depend on cord quality; it also carries audio so the the monitor will play your audio. It isn't the best but I'd bet its better than built in laptop speakers.

Does this monitor have split screen capability? The one I know of splits into 2,3 or 4 screens.

It can split 50/50 between two inputs. There is also software to mimic screen splitting on a computer, but it's not true screen splitting, just areas where various windows can maximize as if the screen were split.

Is this a good gaming monitor?

The 21:9 ratio is very nice if the game supports it, the brightness is fine in all but the sunniest locations, 5 ms is great for all the games I play, color is PERFECT.  I do not have a GPU that will do > 50 fps so the refresh rate is fine.  For my money, it is a dream.

Yes it should it depends on the game though really and if you want to use the full resolution I'm using dvi and you need a dvi-d dvi cable there is a difference I did not no that at first it's a great monitor though I love it
