Is this a touch screen? It mentions that it comes with some sort of pen but never says anything about touch capability.

This is not a touch screen. The pen is more of a novelty, and supposedly can be used to prop the screen up (by inserting into the hole in the lower right corner). Not actually sure how stable that method is.

Question 2

Would this work with my Samsung Galaxy S9+ mobile phone?  I am not sure if the S9+ will be able to handle the power requirements for the monitor.

Just tested it with my LG G7 and it doesn't work.  You'll need at least USB C 3.0 5Gbps to make it work; pretty sure mobile phones charge at USB C 2.0.

Question 3

Can you power the unit with a HDMI to USB-C adpater? For example, An HDMI cable running from a Xbox One or a PS4 into a USB-C adapter then into the monitor.

No, The unit itself draws power and monitor signal from a WIndows Based PC with USB-C port or a Mac with a USB-C. HDMI does not have the power to power this screen.

hi, will it work with MacBook pro?

It should. if you have thunderbolt 3 "Thunderbolt 3 ports are fully compatible with DisplayPort devices and cables"
I've had this working with the usb-c cable on a desktop PC, and HP laptop.  the Samsung notebook 9 pro did not.  (included usb 3.0 adapter and drivers required to use)  Samsung unable to answer why?
Mac OS drivers are also available on the ASUS site.

Thanks. I didn't see an answer as to specific compatibility with a MacBook Pro (mid-2015). Will this work running high sierra? Do you need to download special drivers? Thanks in advance...

I caveat this with the fact that I'm running this on a Windows 10 Machine, but there doesn't appear to be any need for any special drivers since it essentially functions as a monitor.  Asus has some downloadable software for tweaking the settings, but that appears more optional than anything else.

Provided you you can find a proper adapter, like a HDMI (for MBP 2015?) to USBC adapter, I think it should work fine for you.

Does anybody know the viewing angle on this one ?

178 Degrees. As I am typing this on my Zenscreen now, I can say that real world, you don't want to go past maybe 165-170 Degrees. Colors dont wash out, but the screen gets significantly darker past this point.
