Will this work on a HP PROLIANT SERVER ML10 v2?

As long as you have an open PCI express slot it'll work and have the room of course. Requires it's own power.

Does this card work with Linux?

Unfortunately I do not know as mine has a problem. I tried to return mine but time slipped from me and now I have the card and not using it anymore :( I'm unable to get a replacement or refund :(

have the drivers matured for this card yet? or are the old issues in the reviews still present?

Down to one specific issues for mine and I haven't checked for new drivers in about a month. Skype calls will make my sound go in and out, switching between which kHz I have it set at will fix it sine times temporarily for that call. The higher the rate the faster the on off is sound will cycle. I have no other issues for video or games that used to be present. Having video drivers up to date and disabling all other sound devices not in use may of had an impact with it as well.
