How far from the base can you be?

I don't quite understand your question, but if youre asking how far I pick up signal, I'd say 2 houses down; however, I only get 1 bar and it doesn't work because of a bunch of other radio interferences. (Microwave, neighbors satellite dish, etc.) better off finding a different product.

Will this work on a xbox one?

Unknown. Did not purchase for use on an Xbox console. Was used primarily for PC connectivity.
