Is is possible to upgrade the RAM on this laptop (is the RAM accessible/removable/replaceable)?

You can upgrade the RAM, it is user serviceable.  As are the M.2 and 2.5" SATA slots. Though note there is a warranty sticker you have to break to open the unit. Of course being a refurbished unit there is a shorter warranty period anyway.

The first thing I did, after creating a media recovery drive, was to add a 128GB M.2 SATA SSD and 8GB RAM (for a total of 16GB). I then installed a clean version of Windows (using the Microsoft's Media Creation Tool) to the M.2 drive and converted the 1TB drive it came with into a storage drive.

How well does this computer run league of legends?

LoL came out in 2009. Skyrim came out in 2011 and it plays it at max settings no problem. I have the same setup on my desktop PC and it plays GTA V at 1080p at high settings smoothly. Since this laptop has the same CPU and Graphics, I expect that this laptop can play GTA V smoothly also. If it can play GTA V smoothly, then it can play anything smoothly! (at least, as of Jun 2017)
