What is the highest resolution the screen supports?

1200 x 800 is highest and reccomended.  It may seem low by destop standards, but with video card displays quite sharp for a 10.1  inch tablet.  I am satisfied as far as resolution goes, however I wish the processor was a bit faster, but then again atom is built for efficiency and not speed like pentiums are, and that is what I got if for I hate having to charge so often.

Question 2

Does this product come with the charging cord?

Of course, it is a short one though.  If you have a Samsung with a micro-usb cable and adapter you can use that.  I have the a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and my cable works great.  This is a good 2 and 1, but keep in mind not to warehouse too much data on it because the OS takes up a good chunk.  ASUS gives you 1000 GB of cloud storage to use not to mention OneDrive.

Question 3

When docked with the keyboard, about how far will the hinge allow the tablet portion to be tilted back?

For example: this units predecessor only allows for about 1" of travel, or about 15-20 degrees past vertical when measured from the top edge.

I don't need/want a full flip back, just something that tilts back decently enough as I am tall and when flat on a table nearly vertical destroys my viewing angle.

Does it support and active pen/digitizer? Which model would it be?

Unsure. That is more of a windows thing isn't it?? I imagine if it has a touch screen you could get one to work. Never tried one. You might want to check with Asus on that one.. Sorry... Good luck let me know what you find.

Would this Device Run Programs From an External Device?
my Wife Loves SIMS 3 & 4, and Our Current Computer Crashes Playing it after awhile. Since the RAM and SSD are Not Upgradeable I'd Like to be able to have her Run the Game From a External Source so that it won't take up the SSD Space (SIMS is a Huge Game), Would this be Possible with this Device?

The keyboard has one USB plug - so an external drive would work - this option would require her to play the game tethered to the drive - not portable at all.

The tablet also has a microSD slot. So, if you spent the big bucks and got a large capacity fast IO card you could play untethered and quite portable.

Personally I would search for another computer/tablet option if playing that game was the main intended use.

What transfer speed does the SD card hardware support?

I am not sure what the tablet's hardware speed limitations are. I am running it with a 64GB PNY Turbo Performance micro SDXC (Class 10, UHS-I/ U3) card formatted as NTFS and mounted as drive D:. The CrystalDiskMark 5.1.0 x64 speed test results are as follows:

Seq Q32T1 Write: 11.46 MB/s

4K Write: 1.02 MB/s

I also have a virtual drive (VHDX) hosted on the same card mounted as drive E:. When I tested the read/write speeds to the virtual drive the results were similar with the read speeds being about the same while the sequential write speeds almost doubled. The results for the virtual drive are as follows:

The performance of the card in the tablet is very decent in comparison with the PNY's sequential-read rating of the card is "up to 90 MB/s".
