Can this laptop run dual monitors?

Yes you can run dual monitors using the hdmi interface, once both are plugged in Windows will detect the two monitors and you can either share the desktop space or not

Does it have a NVMe or AHCI ssd drive?

It has a Samsung PM951 NVMe drive.  One thing to note....Samsung does NOT provide a optimized driver nor is the drive compatible with the ssd utilities found on the Samsung website.

I found a review that says it has bad cooling system, and it heats very quickly. Is that true? and how bad is that?

I've actually had no heating issues with this laptop. I bought mine about a month ago and have only done some light gaming on it, but it has had no issues. In fact, the casing tends to keep it cool since it is an aluminum construction.

Does this keyboard have backlit keys or not?

What bloatware can I obviously remove? I don't do any gaming and visit limited websites. I want it to run as efficiently as possible. Thanks.

If that is an important concern for you, get a copy of Revo Uninstaller, but be careful when using it. The Revo software will completely remove all references to any installed packages that you don't want on the machine. That includes all program and uninstaller files and folders, shortcuts, and registry settings. The basic Revo Uninstaller is freeware.

Does this include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint?

No, this laptop does not include Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.  I had to purchase a separate license for my laptop.

Does the thunderbolt port support eGPU? Is there a slot for an internal HD besides the SSD?

Yep, the UX501VW has Thunderbolt 3 and it will support eGPU functionality,  well it has to but it's up to ASUS. I don't think there's enough space for a second HDD slot cause of the big battery so you'll have to buy another m2 SSD

i want to buy this laptop but it is for work and i can't use a home edition of windows. Can you provide this laptop with a pro version?

Newegg doesnt do custom orders. but you can upgrade this to pro, i upgraded mine, and it is free if you have a windows 7 pro or windows 8.x pro key. the process is simple you input the default windows 10 pro upgrade key. which is this VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T. and then it will upgrade itself. but wont be activated til you put in a win 7, 8, or 10 key.

If I was to hook this laptop up to a 4K monitor what quality would I get displayed on my monitor being that it is 4k? Do I need any special type of cord, adapter, etc? My goal is to achieve UHD resolution with my 4k monitor. Thanks!

Well, it's based on your graphics card. This, for a laptop, has a good card installed. However, although it's possible, you won't get the best FPS with games in 4K resolution.
