It actually has 4: 3x USB 3.0 Type-A ports and 1x USB Type-C port. Plenty of connections. Hope this helps! BTW, for the price, this is an excellent laptop.

I believe the case is plastic but the lid is metal. The overall  a fit and finish is very good and it is an excellent laptop.

How loud are the laptop fans when gaming?Is it pretty quiet or does the fan noise get very loud ?

The noise is not super loud but it is noticably louder then a regular laptop.

Where is the microphone port? If my gaming headset does not have a USB input how am I supposed to use my headset's mic if I don't have an input?  why do i only see a headphone input and not a mic input which is pretty standard for all laptops?

Keep in mind this is a laptop if you have a headset with 2 audio plugs than I suggest you get an adapter for 1 - 2 audio port adapter but if you have a headset with just one plug that connects the mic and audio in one plug than you should be fine.
