I haven't attempted to do so on mine, but to my knowledge this model does not have the ability to change the backlight color on the keyboard.

For the ASUS FX503VD, the adapter says the input is 100-240V and 50-60Hz 2.0A. The output is 19V and 6.32A.

There seem to be numerous configurations of FX503VD.  The one I purchased and I believe you are looking at is FX503VD-NH76, although the Newegg description doesn't specify -NH76.  It came with one installed 16GB SODIMM in one slot and with a second vacant slot making it expandable to 24 or 32GB total.  If you search for FX503VD on Newegg, you will be able to view the numerous configurations and check for installed vs maximum memory and other HD/SSD configurations which are the main differences. The power supply works with 110V to 240V AC. The output is 19V at 6.32A, for approximately 120 Watts. I have noticed that when under heavy load (Vermintide 2, for example), the computer draws more than 120, so it starts to use a little bit of battery charge.

When I click on the i7 Quad-Core version with 256gb SSD, it says it comes with the IPS display. However, under specifications, it says the display is "Full HD". Is the i7 version IPS or TN display?

Hello:
   It's not IPS, but TN neither. It is in the middle, flat matte VA type screen Anti-Glare. Better than TN, but not really brilliant as IPS. For me it is perfect, because if the IPS screen, is not made by the highest standard, in the dark it suffers by "IPS glow", at a certain angle you will see a variation of brightness and to avoid ASUS need to add a higher price on this laptop, added a VA Screen.
   The white color still looks great because it is also FHD, and that helps a bit to compare it with the IPS screen, but at a lower cost. In addition, the response of the screen is greater than TN, as IPS. But if you like use an IPS FHD HDR screen you see this screen like a TN screen. :) Tell you again for this price, the best screen.

What's the battery life?

Well, it depends on what you're doing. I brought it to work a few days and when I put it on battery saver mode (a dimmer than usual brightness, using only on-board video) and using it for things like browsing and creating documents and spreadsheets the battery estimated 10 hours and it lasted me all day with battery time leftover. If you were gaming I'm sure the battery would die pretty quickly - probably a couple hours, but that's just a guess - I've been  using the power cord when I use it to game.

Yes. Miracast supported. So since 2012, when appear the Windows 8, all laptops that come out after this date, suppose to have it "HDMI over Wi-Fi", because is an standard until now and this one support it.

Question 10

Does it really weight 4.9lbs? Same model on other sites suggests it might be somewhere close to 5.5lbs!
