how long is the battery life?

Hello,

This laptop is rated for 48 WHrs, which depending on what you are doing will determine the actual battery life.  For example, if what you are doing pulls 12W of power, the battery will last around 4 hours, but if you are doing something less intensive that sips on the battery, it COULD last up to 48 hours but that is assuming you aren't doing anything on it (or have it on sleep mode).

As previous users mentioned, gaming will pull the most power and will drain the battery the fastest.  Hope this information was helpful.

Can the ssd be upgraded to 1tb ?

I think so,I would like to upgrade mine 2. I have found the SSD is great for operating systems/startup and loading, I use the 1TB HDD Baracuda it’s almost as fast, plays all new release games great.

geeez, why are the showing reviewes for this covering such a wide range of hardware differences in this laptop? i want to see reviews for the gtx 1060 6gb and i7-8750h model that im looking at, not every other asus product ever made that has a model number similiar to it.

I bought that model (1060 6gb/8750h), it works quite well. Runs a bit on the hot side (90C) but thats expected out of a laptop. Runs ARK:Survival at medium setting around 60-90fps usually. Only problem Ive had is the mechanical drive has been running really slow even for a mechanical. Might be a driver or optimization issue.
