It it the matte or glossy screen version?

Definitely glossy. The screen reflects a lot and is a bit annoying. But the computer is killer and so i can deal. LOL

How's the trackpads on this? With Windows machines a good trackpad is hard to find. I have a Samsung now and I love the trackpad. It's as close to a Mac as I could find. I've had Acers, Toshibas, and other laptops in the past where the trackpads were awful.

Hi there. To preface this, I would like to say that overall I like this computer, but speaking as a person who owned a Macbook Pro prior to purchasing this device, I am not overly impressed with the track pad. In terms of basic usage, I constantly have problems with the track pad unintentionally engaging in the click and drag function when I am doing things as basic as web browsing. As for the "nifty" toggling number pad, I don't find that it works well at all. Toggling the function on and off is often a chore and in my experience I find the buttons to be too sensitive, resulting in many keystroke errors. I never used a mouse for my old Macbook but for this computer I've found that one is a necessity. Hope this helps.

How big is the difference between this 16GB LDDR3 and 16GB DDR4?

LP means lower power, so less battery drain, esp on standby. if RAM is the same, performance should be about the same when using. accordant to some forums i checked.

Can this be connect to a docking station so I can run dual external monitors?

Since it has USB-C, you can connect to a docking station via that port.

does it have anti-glare?
