Is there a VGA port? Acer's store says there isn't, yet the pic shows one and its externally identical predecessor had one too.

Is it possible to tell what the wear and tear was exactly on this unit? I am keen on purchasing it but I don't want a piece where the touchpad, key surfaces or lid/hinges etc are faded or worn out? Thank you.

When mine arrived it had a tiny chip on the non-functioning area to the right of the touchpad.  Everything else was immaculate.  If it didn't have the chip I would have thought they sent a new unit by mistake.  Hinges are nice and strong and keep the screen positioned exactly where I put it.

Are the hinges for the lid metal or plastic?  Or a higher grade plastic than the rest of the case?  Some laptops get extra floppy after a couple years of open/close multiple times daily.

The Hinges are plastic but feel tight and there is very little play in them, this may change over time and use however
