So does everyone experience thermal overload leading to throttling? Or is that limit to those OC their systems?

I have yet to see thermal throttling and I pretty much had it running full tilt. I have seen that it will hit processor limits under certain conditions that may throttle the experience but not as a heat factor. That is without throwing in the front core half the time.

Does it include Predator FrostCore Accessory Fan?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it includes everything it would normally come with, though the extra fan doesn't really make any difference. The beast already has massive cooling fans and vents built in.

Does it have less power in it from being used?

At this price, this computer is a bargain. But, unfortunately, yes. I am getting around 4 hours at the most (that is stretching it) from normal to light use (google docs, OpenOffice, sublime text) without being near a charger. Run a moderately light game and it will go down to 1-1:30 hours and that is being generous. Triple A titles such as Witcher 3 will last around 30-40 minutes. Because of this, I keep it plugged in almost always. But I love this computer and it is a beast.

Is the SSD NVMe?  What's the form factor of the SSD?  Is it M.2 or SATA?

There are 2 slots. 1 NVMe and M.2 supported. Other is only M.2. The ssd that comes with the laptop is 2x128gb M.2. I upgraded it to single NVMe.

Is it possible to replace the red buttons with standart ones?

I'm not sure if "standart" means anything, but you can turn the colors off. All the colors and lightning is adjustable.

Who is the refurbisher/anyone have any issues with the product upon arrival?

I ordered 3. Only issue is the bios is pw protected and I will need to call customer service to get it unlocked so I can enable the numlock on boot and hopefully turn off the boot sound.

This came in a brown cardboard box, with charger and additional fan. Came in like new condition, no blemishes, no BLB at all, flawless!
