Thermaltake has long been an innovator in the realm of CPU cooling with many of its thermal strategies being adopted by OEM and other companies. Thermaltake continues to bring innovative solutions to unique CPU cooling challenges with the compact Venus CL-P0075 cooler.
With the entire unit barely larger than the 80mm fan, and only 62mm tall, the CL-P0075 packs heatpipe cooling technology into a very small package. The heatpipes draw heat from the copper base to be dissipated from the tightly configured, thin aluminum fins. The fins are configured to maximize surface area for optimal heat removal. The integrated temperature speed control lets the ball bearing mounted fan move between 32 to 60 CFM of cooling air while operating at 2800 to 5500 RPM.
The CL-P0075 mounts without tools by use of a clip and does not require removal of the motherboard. It is designed to support AMD Opteron and Athlon 64 processors as well as the Athlon 64 FX55 CPUs.
