Do you need a dongle to connect to a PC or can I use my Intel wireless cards Bluetooth?

You can use your intel wireless Bluetooth signal to Connect to controller just fine however if you purchase a wireless PC dongle for controller connection you have reduced input lag and a better connnftion and longer battery life out of your controller using that method which is better

Will this work for a windows 8?

I used it on Windows 7 with a usb cord so it should work the same on Windows 8. These controllers will not work wireless on any system besides Windows 10
