Does it come with a keyboard and mouse?

Does not come with keyboard/mouse. You can get by with a wired mouse to get setup by enabling on-screen keyboard (ease of access function). Then once through the initial Windows setup steps you can go straight to using a Bluetooth keyboard (or regular wireless if requiring nonstandard drivers which won't work after first boot).

What is in the box? Does in com Recovery DVD for windows? Thanks.

The package contains a windows recovery disk, a drivers disk, a manual, and a bracket for mounting behind a tv.

It feels quite fast & responsive with four cpu cores. Boots up fast from ssd.

The 2gb memory was sufficient for media playback, but I upgraded to 8gb for better multitasking.

Plays back MP4 video more smoothly than my blu-Ray player

Does this really come with a VESA mount?
A VESA mount is listed as included, but I don't see it in any of the pictures.

It does indeed.  The mount can screw to your vesa Monitor.  But the computer is designed to just hang from the mount.  Has little slots it hangs on.

Does it come with Windows 8.1 installed or user must install it?

Mine came with Windows 8.1 installed, I changed out the memory to 8GB 1 stick.

Is it possible to use the ssd with a 2.5" hard drive at the same time?

I haven't done it, but I am pretty sure you can use an external USB 2 or 3 drive  with the internal drive.  The internal drive is a 64GB 2.5" SDD.  I feel sure you could replace the internal drive with a larger drive but would have to install OS.

This mini-PC comes with a 2gb DDR3L 1333 memory module. Can I replace it with a DDR3L 1600 module?

The motherboard only supports 1333, 1600 may work but it is not going to run at full speed. I replaced the 2G memory with a 8G 1333 memory and it runs fine.

Does this product come with Windows 8.1 pre-installed?

David F.  Yes, this device comes with Windows 8.1 with Bing.  I've been using it for a home media player using KODI (XBMC) since I bought it.  It works like a charm and can easily stream movies to my 70 inch 4k TV.  It's been on continually for 6 months without a hitch.  I have 2 3TB hard drives connected and can stream downloaded content to all my other devices including Android tablets, Windows tablets and PCs throughout my house.  hope I answered your question sorry about rambling.

What is the maximum RAM this computer can handle?

It has one Memory Slot, the manufacturer page says 8 Gigs.  Thats what I put in mine.

CAN YOU EXPLAIN THE FREE WINDOWS 10 UPGRADE, AND WOULD THIS REQUIRE A HDMI TO VGA CABEL FOR MY 22"SCREEN?

There is no VGA port so you would need to get an adapter.  I've never tried the HDMI to VGA adapter, but if it works that's what you'll need.  Windows 10 upgrade - I would signup at their website to get notified.  Once you do the upgrade you should get free upgrades for the life of the installation as I understand the program.
