Is the RAM integrated into the PCB or is it in a slot where it could potentially be upgraded?

No, it's integrated. The Atom chip inside is actually limited to 2Gb RAM. You won't find one with this specific processor with any more.

Can I upgrade the Window? to like Window 8.1 Pro or Window 8.1 Enterprise?

I don't see why not, assuming the hardware supports the specs...in particular the internal storage is relatively limited at 32GB.

Bigger question is why would you want to?  These little boxes are impressive for what they are but should never be confused for real Windows desktop computers; too limited in horsepower, especially RAM.

the power button needs to be pressed. there is no option in the BIOS to bootup after a power failure.

I wouldn't recommend buying it with an intent to upgrade it. It would be very difficult to disassemble it without damaging its case, and I'm pretty sure the Atom only supports 2gb.

If you’re running Windows 8, get Windows Media Center by upgrading to the Windows 8 Pro Pack. If you’re running Windows 8 Pro, you can buy the Windows Media Center Pack.

Check the BIOS if the key is available there or you may need to download a utility which can find the windows 8.1 with Bing key. search online
