This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-MA770-DS3 AM2+/AM2 AMD 770 ATX All Solid Capacitor AMD Motherboard
Pros:
Solid Japanese capacitors should help this board last for a long time and aid overclocking. Many BIOS options helped get good bang for the buck. Unlike the asus 770 board and its "U" clips, north-bridge cooler can easily be replaced for something better.
Cons:
The first board I received lasted only about 15mins. Another thing that was really disappointing was that the DDR2 voltage can only be set up to 2.175. Most DDR2 1066 requires at least 2.2v. I found my memory wasn't able to exceed 1000mhz at 2.175v. Which really isn't too bad, but I just don't think they should be adverting this board as having full DDR2-1066 with out at least 2.2v available.
Overall Review:
I have built only 3 of maybe 100 systems with Gigabyte motherboards. The first board I got in each build was always problematic. But after being replaced the first two boards (Nforce2) lasted through heavy over clocking for nearly 5 years now.
