This review is from: ASRock K10N780SLIX3-WiFi AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA nForce 780a SLI ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros:
Well thought-out design. Socket AM2, full-size ATX, 3x PCIe, 2x PCI slots, space for 8 GB DDR2 ram. The AMI BIOS is easy to navigate, and user-friendly.
Cons:
Tried to install openSUSE 11. After 6 or 7 attempts, this board was never stable. Crashed hard after about 5 weeks, and would not reboot.
Overall Review:
I replaced it with an MSI K9N7 with similar features. That board is very stable and perfectly comfortable with Linux, although neither of the two recognizes the full compliment of 8GB of (my) memory.
I do not work in IT or as a computer engineer, so it doesn't benefit me how another consumer decides to spend his or her money; and I recommend tedious research before purchasing any motherboard.
I do not recommend ASRock's K10N780SLIX3
