Pros:
worked awesomely until i turned off my computer.
Cons:
transfered over 300gb of files to mybook. turned pc off for the night. went to turn on my pc the next afternoon and it wouldnt get past the windows logo.
tried again and it froze on the user screen. unplugged the mybook and it fired up perfectly. plugged it back in and the computer would not recognize the drive at all, and no programs would open. unplug the usb and all the programs open immediately.
plugged it back in let it sit for about 15 minutes and it was finally recognized. however i couldnt access any files. mybook disconnected shortly after just randomly on its own. i sent an email to WD but no response.
extremely frustrated removed hd from case and plugged directly into pc, only to find out it recognizes the drive however i still cant access files because it claims to need to be formatted. as a last resort i format the drive, it freezes up about 25% through the process and so here i am.
