Pros:
Excellent sound, flexible wiring setups, direct control of input options, filter and level controls on unit, auto-shutoff.
Cons:
Might be a little big for some living rooms but you need that size to move the air.
Overall Review:
I bought this to 'pump up' my ONKYO HT-S7200 (purchased from NewEgg as well) and couldn't be happier. The entire setup was to replace an old analog Bose sound system for a new Panasonic Plasma and make the jump to HDMI and HDTV. The wife and I are very happy with the sound but the dog and cat were a little scared at first...;)
I tested the system out with a blue-ray copy of 2012 on my PS3 and the 'crack' of the Yosemite Volcano explosion was so real and deafening that the cat took off running and the dog was right behind it...ha.
I wired it up using the LEFT-RIGHT pass thru connections as recommended on here. It seems to do the trick nicely and the auto shut off works fine when wired that way.
If you love to FEEL your action movies then this is a no brainer.
