So much incorrect info here 05/22/2010

Pros:
There is a lot of misinformation provided by customers at New Egg. Some of these comments need to be vetted by New Egg, as they are misleading. First off this version absolutely does provided Trim and Buck. Also, there are several posts about active PFC and the need for a battery backup to produce a true sine wave if your PSU has active PFC. This is false and just an attempt to get you to buy a more expensive battery system. Ask your PSU vendor. I did and the claim is totally false.
As for this system works very good. Has handled a couple of short power losses with no problems. Power chute is an excellent product that comes with this unit. It provides duration info on blackouts, overvoltages, undervoltages and electrical noise. Also, gives information on current usage in watts. My gaming system under full load has around 400 watts of consumption. Estimated battery time under full load is 10 minutes. When under light load I get about 25 minutes of battery.
Cons:
Communication between power chute and battery sometimes is lost and causes a repeated warning to pop up. Not a real problem though
Overall Review:
Do your homework before purchasing a battery backup. There is so much misinformation being published by reviewers at this site.
