NOT 500w 12/07/2010
This review is from: Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus - 500W Power Supply
Pros:
none at all
Cons:
many...
you get to think this is really a 500w psu since it says 500w everywhere. but as soon as u put it on you pc it does NOT deliver 500w. and if u read the info ON the psu it clearly says "max power 350W"
Overall Review:
avoid buying these. buy from other known brands such as thermaltake
Manufacturer Response:
Dear Valued Customer - We apologize for any inconvenience. The label states 350 for the 12V rail. A power supply has the following rails that each require wattage: 12V, -12V, 5VSB, 3.3V. The 12V rail has 350W watts distributed to that only. Computer systems need more than just the 12V rail to run. The power supply in question follows Intel's specification ATX 2.3. If you need more information, please contact us via the Live Chat link below. Respectfully - CMUSA Customer Support.
