Pros:
Great deal straight up, no ifs, ands, or buts, about it. Great performance and it still has a thin feel to it. Heat is no issue even on my lap or on a bed when doing everyday tasks that dont require high gpu usage. I love having the num-pad at my disposal and the keyboard is simple with good tactile feed back, you never wonder whether your pushing hard or soft enough.
Cons:
Although the keyboard is great i think the touchpad could have been moved a little to the right because if i stop typing for a second and rest my palm down a little it hits the pad and makes it click, this is easely remedied with a few changes to the mouse settings especially if you have a separate mouse but there you go. I had no problem cleaning up all the extra wares that came with it but i did get BSoD a couple times during all of the updates i needed. Hasn't happened since so im not worried at all. If you plan on playing any games with it be aware that it can get pretty hot. I play Starcraft 2 and it runs it great but gets really hot at times.
Overall Review:
I dont get what the VGA port on the left side is all about, it seems pretty useless and a bad place for it plus it has HDMI out but its there if you need it so no real compllaints. Speakers suck but its a simple laptop so i wouldnt really consider it a con.
Truthfully all the cons i listed are pretty trivial but are there for you to be aware of. I hear alot about how acer laptops suck but its all about the hardware thats in it and how you use it and for the price I payed for this thing I am MORE than happy giving it a 5/5. I hope this helps.
