Could have Been Better

Pros:
Works like it should, when it works. It's quiet, not too bulky for a mid-tower case and seems to handle watching movies in HD just fine. I'm not a gamer so I cannot comment on that part of it, but watching action movies I cannot complain.
Cons:
The driver for the card stopped responding after a month of use. Had to boot up in safe-mode to get to my desktop without it going blank or freezing. Uninstalled the driver which was put out in April 2011 and installed the one that came on the disk, which was put out in June 2010. Same thing kept happening. So I uninstalled the driver completely just using the Windows default driver and everything seemed to work just fine, without sound going through my DVI to HDMI cable anyway.
So I RMA'd it through MSI, which was simple enough but had to pay for shipping, which is standard I'm sure. Got it back in about 10 days. They replaced it with a new one, installed it and it was DOA, got on Newegg to read other reviews, seems the problem I was having with the first was very common. An MSI Technical Rep was leaving his email address for people to email him directly, I tried this. Got a response the next day with a UPS mailing label. Got the new one less than a week later, new one working.
Overall Review:
This seems like a good card now that it's working fine again. But I cannot recommend this particular model due to the problem that I and others are having with it. If it dies again I'm going back to EVGA which has never let me down even once. If you're having a similar problems with this card, read down and find the email address of the MSI rep, they're very helpful and quick. As far as RMAs go, this was an alright experience with quick and efficient service.
