- DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000)
- Timing 11-11-11

- Voltage 1.60V
I'm sure it would be good if it was compatible 03/25/2012
This review is from: G.SKILL Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-2133C11D-8GAO
Pros:
It works
Cons:
only runs at 1333mhz on my mobo, perhaps a little above but I have tried a whole bunch of stuff to get it to run at at least 1600 with no luck. It's a 790i 775 socket.
Overall Review:
It's ok though because I plan on upgrading to the 1155 platform soon and I'm pretty confident it will run properly then.
Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer
We can surely help with the problem you are having. Since you are using the nVidia 790i chipset with LGA 775 CPU, this older platform must be overclocked in order to achieve anything better than DDR3-1333. The DRAM Frequency can only be as high as the CPU FSB frequency, so if you did not do that, you will be maxed at DDR3-1333. With a newer LGA 1155 platform, you should have no issues. For any further questions or issues, please feel free to contact us directly.
Thank you
